01The short version

Vault sets a small number of cookies, all of them strictly functional — required for the site to load, scale to your screen, and remember your unsubscribe preference if you set one. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, social-media tracking pixels, or any cookie that profiles you across other sites.

You can clear all of them anytime from your browser's settings without breaking the site — you'll just see the cookie banner again on the next visit (if we ever add one).

02What cookies are

A cookie is a tiny text file a website saves in your browser. It typically contains a string of letters and numbers that the site reads on your next visit. Cookies have legitimate uses (keeping you signed in, remembering your language) and abusive ones (cross-site behavioral tracking). This site uses only the legitimate kind.

"Local storage" and "session storage" are similar mechanisms in modern browsers. We may use them in place of cookies where they're more efficient. The same rules in this policy apply to both.

03Cookies we use

The full list, with what each one does and how long it lives:

NamePurposeTypeLifetime
__cf_bm Cloudflare bot-mitigation token. Distinguishes humans from automated requests. Strictly necessary 30 minutes
cf_clearance Confirms a browser has passed Cloudflare's bot challenge. Set only on challenged requests. Strictly necessary 30 days
vault.prefs Remembers UI preferences such as Talent/Brands toggle and reduced-motion override. Functional 12 months
vault.unsub Suppression cookie set when you unsubscribe from the newsletter, so we don't accidentally re-prompt you. Functional 12 months

If we add a new cookie, we will update this table before the cookie is set in production.

04Third-party cookies

None at the time of writing. We don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Tag Manager, X widgets, embedded YouTube players, or any other third-party tag that would set a cookie on your browser from a domain you didn't visit.

If we ever embed a creator's video reel from a third-party host, that host may set its own cookies when the video loads. We will update this section before introducing any such embed.

05Manage your cookies

Every modern browser lets you view and clear cookies for any site. Direct links:

  • Safari
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Edge

Clearing or blocking cookies will not break the site. The strictly-necessary cookies are short-lived; they'll be re-issued the next time you load a page.

06Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Vault honors the Global Privacy Control signal where it applies. Because we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, GPC has no behavior-changing effect on this site — we just acknowledge it.

The legacy "Do Not Track" header is no longer maintained by major browsers; we don't act on it specifically.

07Updates

We update this page when our cookie use changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For anything cookie-related, write to privacy@vaultmgt.com.

The right number of cookies is the smallest number that makes the site work.
